Dance Monkey Dance.

You know, unlike Country Gay, I never really dug The Smiths back in the day. But damn if this doesn't just make you do funny arm wavey skippity hoppity crap all over the kitchen while you wait for your eggs to cook.

You can't beat a bit of jangly Rickenbacker, except it's actually a Telecaster, amazingly. Johnny Marr is a guitar GENIUS. He was only 20 when he played on 'This Charming Man'.

Yikes, my Smiths geekiness is starting to show. But "Punctured bicycle on a hilltop desolate" is one of my favourite opening lines ever.

And you can't beat Moz's drama - check out 'William it was really Nothing' on Top of the Pops. Wait for the bit in chorus around 1m 20 when he sings "Would you like to marry me?" Classic Moz.

Early music videos were so much more fun than those of today.
And now I feel old 'ach, it was better in the old days'

God, I loved The Smiths.

Although not, you know, in a "love that dare not shriek its name" sort of way.
